My little bookworms were recently sent a copy of Millie Shares by Claire Alexander to review.
Millie has a special toy called Monkey whom she loves very much.
She’s also got a best friend called Lily who she loves to play with.
There’s just one problem… Millie doesn’t like sharing Monkey with Lily one bit! In fact, she doesn’t like sharing at all.
She even snatches all the toys away from everyone at nursery!
Will Millie learn that sharing can be much more fun than keeping everything for yourself?
We really enjoyed reading this book together. Although they have their moments, mostly my children just do not want to share! The illustrations in the book are really lovely and I’m hoping that, through regular reading, this book will help my children recognise the benefits of sharing 🙂
Millie Shares was published at the end of Jnauary 2014 by Egmont books and costs £6.99.
