My Little Pony My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle

My Little Pony My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle review

Posted on August 29, 2017March 20, 2019 by jenny

Are your children excited about the My Little Pony: The Movie, which releases in October? My daughter can’t wait to go and watch it so was excited to hear about some of the latest My Little Pony: The Movietoys from Hasbro, including Twilight Sparkle and Spike the Dragon, the Seashell Lagoon playset, the Canterlot and Seaquestia Castle, Pinkie Pie Swimming Seapony and My Magical Princess Twilight!

My Little Pony My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle

My Little Pony My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle

We were so lucky to receive the new My Little Pony My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle to unbox and review at home. You can discover the magic of friendship with the My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle figure, a pony with Pegasus wings and a responsive light-up unicorn horn! While interacting with her, she can move her head and hoof, say 90 plus phrases, and light up her horn. Kids can explore how powerful friendship can be with this beautiful, interactive pony companion!

Take a look at our unboxing video to see what we thought:

As a faithful pupil to Princess Celestia, Princess Twilight Sparkle is always learning just how magical friendship can be! She’s a really fun toy and my daughter is delighted with her.

While interacting with her, she can move her head and hoof, say 90 plus phrases, and light up her horn. Touch her horn to hear her talk about her magical spells! Press the Star button on her hoof to hear her friendship advice, stories or songs, too! Watch as she flutters her beautiful wings and imagine her soaring over Equestria.

She has poseable legs so kids can help her sit or stand although we haven’t quite worked out how. Princess Twilight Sparkle also has a beautiful mane and tail to style and a tiara to complete her look. It does require 4 x 1.5V C LR14 Alkaline batteries which are not included so I’d make sure you have these ready when you open the toy up. The only other thing I’d add is that this definitely isn’t a cuddly kind of toy. My daughter loves her cuddlies but although the outside is made of a lovely soft plush there’s a lot going on inside. My daughter enjoys taking this to bed to listen to the stories but I make sure that she put sit on the floor before she goes to sleep.

This is a lovely toy for My Little Pony fans. You can explore how powerful friendship can be with this beautiful, interactive pony companion! My Little Pony My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle has a RRP £139.99 and is available from Amazon and all good toy shops.

What an amazing toy, I love it! I used to love My Little Pony when I was little, and they have come a long way! I wonder if my boys would enjoy it… any excuse for a twinkly purple pony!

Aww my little girl would love this! How much have My Little Ponies changed over the years though! Their eyes must have tripled in size! Haha

I loved My Little Pony as a child and I must admit, I’d love to play with this myself as it looks awesome and sounds like it can do so many things too. I agree though – it is so annoying when toys don’t come with the batteries they need to make them work – can be so disappointing if you don’t realise in time.

    Thanks for sharing!

What a lovely toy – I love that it’s interactive, I suppose at the price it is it has to be. I love My Little Pony when I was little though and know I would have begged my parents for this x

Fab review! As you know this is number 1 on my daughters wish list. I was quite worrried it wouldn’t be worth the money tbh but it looks lovely and well made. I’m sure she will be overjoyed if we manage to get it for her. And thanks for the heads up on the batteries!
