Have you sent your Christmas cards yet? We will be posting them out this week as the postal strikes are making the post slower than usual. We couldn’t resist making some cards and thought we would share our kid-made Christmas tree card craft which was so much fun to make.

Materials:
Green felt paper
Red glitter sheet
Red and yellow card
Glue
Scissor
Pen
Double sided tape
Green wool

How to make kid-made Christmas tree card craft

From a piece of red construction paper, cut the paper in half.

This will be the size of the card. Fold it in half to make a card.

Then fold the upper part back upon itself.

Trace a circle in the middle of the red card and carefully cut it out.

Cut two Christmas trees from the green felt paper.

Cut a small length of the green wool and use glue or double sided tape to hold it in place between the two layers of the Christmas trees. Make sure you have the green sides facing out.

Then attach the ends of the wool to the circle you removed a while ago using double sided tape. Don’t worry, you won’t see the tape when you’ve finished. Next cut a circle from the red glittery foam, the same size as the one you cut out earlier.

Place the glittery red circle behind the Christmas tree and attach it to the card with glue or double sided tape.

Make sure it is placed underneath the Christmas tree.

Fold back the top layer of red card and you will see your Christmas tree.

Finish off your card by adding stars using the yellow construction paper. You can add any design you want but we added sweet bright stars.

Add them where you like using glue or double sided tape.

    This is such a lovely idea, I have to admit I think there is something really special about handmade especially when it comes from kids as well.
