There is so much excitement about the new The Lego Batman Movie in our house. You may remember we were lucky to attend the premiere a few weeks ago. Both my children love their superheroes so I knew they would love the DC Super Friends Arkham Asylum from Imaginext.

We already had a few Imaginext figures so my children were really excited when I showed them the Arkham Asylum. My son knew all about it, having seen The Lego Batman Movie, and my daughter just loves Batman (see what her World Book Day costume was!).
Imaginext toys are perfect for imaginative play and storytelling and I have been enjoying listening to them play with it. There are some really fun, interactive features to extend play.
It’s the perfect size for two children as there is a distinct front and back to the Asylum. You can turn or place a figure in the bottom Power Pad to open and close the jail cell doors.
You can place a figure or turn the top Power Pad to reveal the disk launcher. The set comes with 3 projectiles which you load into the launcher at the top of the building, then press button to fire.
The Imaginext DC Super Friends Arkham Asylum includes the Arkham Asylum playset, one Batman figure, and 3 projectiles. You can buy other figures and playsets to extend play. This toy is suitable for ages 3+ and has a RRP £36.99. It is available from Smyths Toys and other toy shops.
This is very very cool! There wasn’t such toys like this when I was growing up, so it is interesting to see how things have evolved!
Oooh this is brilliant! We’ve had a clear out of my nephews toys so he can have a new toy for his mums anniversary. He loves superheros!!
