collecting Yoyo Bear's Grrreatest Games Cards

{How to keep kids busy} collecting free BEAR YoYo cards

Posted on June 6, 2020July 8, 2021 by jenny

Are you managing to keep your kids occupied? As the weeks go on I have to admit that my children are getting more and more dis-interested in their school work. It’s a real struggle to keep them motivated so I am looking at other ways of supporting their learning at home whilst they are not able to go to school.

How to keep kids busy

So far I’ve shared our geocaching adventures, the free tree identification app we use when we go out on our walks, as well as the free Summer Reading Challenge which has just launched for 2020.

Collecting free BEAR YoYo cards

I love anything fun and educational and we’ve always been a big fan of BEAR YoYo’s. Have you heard of them? They are a healthy snack for kids and something that my 8 year old loves in her lunchbag and as an after school snack. Each pack usually contains a free collectible card which she loves to collect and swap with her friends.

The latest series to collect are BEAR’s Grrreatest Games. There are 50 BEAR YoYo cards to collect and follow the animal athletes sporting adventures. You can also send off for a free card keeper and stickers which you can use with the free Grrreatest Games cards in each pack of BEAR YoYos.

Grrreatest Games card keeper and stickers

We sent off for our Grrreatest Games card keeper and stickers in March and they’ve only just arrived due to the pandemic. The children were so excited to receive some mail and immediately opened them to see what was inside. The card keeper comes with a card sleeve to keep your cards safe. The Collect & Go Card Keeper includes a sheet of stickers which you can use when you have collected the corresponding BEAR’s Grrreatest Games cards to tick them off. Each sticker is a small part of the Grrreatest Games card so this kept my kids busy for ages trying to find the correct card. When you have the correct sticker look again at your Grrreatest Games card number so you can put the sticker in the correct place.

You can use the Collect & Go Card Keeper to store your cards, sorted by category (team BEAR team MONKEY, team PARROT, team ELEPHANT, and team OCTOPUS). There are also instructions for three different ways to play with the cards, such as Bear’s Pairs. When you’ve collected all 50 cards you can send a pic of your completed set and received a special Winner’s reward!

You can find out more in this little video that we made:

My kids love collecting things so BEAR cards have always been really popular with them. You can fill in the form on the BEAR website to claim your free card keeper and stickers, although there may be a delay due to the pandemic.
