{Cricut made} Hocus Pocus Mason Jar Craft

{Cricut made} Hocus Pocus Mason Jar Craft

Posted on September 10, 2022 by jenny

We are so excited to celebrate Halloween next month. The shops are full of Halloween decor and we have been busy planning a Halloween costume for our pup to wear when we go Trick or Treating. I am excited to start watching Halloween films with the kids, especially Hocus Pocus 2 which comes out soon. We recently re-watched Hocus Pocus which inspired our Hocus Pocus Mason Jar Craft which features the quotation “Oh look, another glorious morning, makes me sick”.

Time: 45 Minutes

Materials:
1 sheet white vinyl oracal
1 sheet transfer tape
Cricut machine
Blue Cricut mat
Cricut weeding tool
Cricut scraper tool
1 black mason jar
Hocus Pocus svg

How to make a Hocus Pocus Mason Jar:

Open Cricut Design Space, create a new project and import our free Hocus Pocus svg. Measure your mason jar.

Once the svg is in your project settings, click attach and then set the size to the size of your jar.

I used 3″ by 3″.

I chose 1 sheet of white vinyl oracal and placed i onto the blue Cricut mat.

Feed the cutting mat into the machine and send the design to the Cricut to cut on vinyl setting.

Once your project has cut, carefully remove from your Cricut machine and move the vinyl from the cutting mat. Weed your design.

Place Cricut Transfer Tape over the top of the design and use the scraper tool to scrape well.

This will help adhere it to the Cricut transfer tape.

Peel back the Cricut Transfer Tape making sure the design sticks to it. Place it on the jar and scrape well with the scraper tool.

Peel back the transfer tape making sure the design sticks to the mason jar.

Decorate your Hocus Pocus Mason Jar with fake flowers or baby’s breath for a simple Halloween Hocus Pocus decor. Or fill with Halloween sweets for a Hocus Pocus inspired Halloween treat jar.

This is so great. I love the wording of this. I have often thought about buying myself a Cricut machine.

I just saw this on Pinterest and had to pop over to take a look. What a great idea. I do love Hocus Pocus. This looks great, it would make a lovely Halloween decoration.

Every time I see these cool cricut crafts it makes me want to get my own machine. This is such a lovely little craft and in good time before Hocus Pocus 2 comes out x
