I can’t quite believe I offered to review a noisy book with the children but I did, so here goes.
The children were sent a Fireman Sam Start the Siren! Sound book from Egmont to review. Called Jupiter to the Rescue! it’s a sturdy board book with a button to press throughout the story.
Fireman Sam and the Pontypandy fire crew are called on to help with many emergencies, from a cat stuck in a tree to a bus nearly falling off a cliff. Jupiter the fire engine races to each scene with sirens wailing! Join in with the rescue missions by pressing the button to make a fire engine noise!
These books have always been popular with my children. This book is aimed at 2+ so my daughter loved it and I’ll say my 4 year old tolerated it and is clearly feeling too grown up for this kind of book. As you can imagine, the story is nice and simple and Fireman Sam obviously saves the day.
It features all your favourite characters from Pontypandy, ours is easily Naughty Norman! The book is priced at £6.99 and is the perfect read for little Fireman Sam fans.
