Fireman Sam Heroes of the Storm Premiere

Last week we were lucky to receive an exclusive invitation to Hamleys toy shop on Regent’s Street to celebrate the launch of the new Fireman Sam film Heroes of the Storm. We were able to meet Fireman Sam, who arrived at Hamleys on Jupiter, as well as watch a preview of the new Fireman Sam DVD.

The Pontypandy Fire Station is closed to make way for a new modern station with touch screens and innovative gadgets. The crew work from a mobile fire station and are kept very busy. Mountain climber Moose asks Tom to use his helicopter pilot skills to help him use the new rescue vehicle to take wildlife photo’s. However their inexperience leads to them having to call Fireman Sam to be rescued after being swept out to sea.

At sea, fisherman Charlie and coastguard Ben spot a menacing tornado heading straight for Pontypandy! It’s action stations as Sam must get Moose and Tom to safety and rescue Penny and the children from their trip to the mountain before the tornado hits.

When a fire breaks out at the new fire station, it’s a race against time as Sam has to hurry back to Pontypandy to help the rest of the team and save the day. With the storm becoming fiercer and stronger, Sam will have to fight through the brutal weather to save the new high tech fire station.

Fireman Sam Heroes of the Storm features two new team members and an exciting new 6 wheeled boat vehicle. The DVD is set for release nationwide on 21st September 2015.
