As much as I love subscription boxes there is one thing I don’t like – that is waiting for them to arrive! Sign ups often open at the beginning of the month but they are not sent out to the end. It’s not that I don’t have plenty of templates to work on but I really love receiving a box of new templates. Thankfully the January EmbellishBox arrived on Saturday and my lovely postman hid it behind a plant pot so I was able to open it when we got home.
January EmbellishBox
I really enjoyed the December EmbellishBox so I was looking forward to the next one. The theme for the January box was Adventure Awaits.
Inside were 3 full-sized templates: Adventure at Sea, Adventure walk, Adventure in the forest. There was also a template for Adventure tents, which I cut one side off and made into teepee’s.
There were 3 x backing papers which I love as before I found this sub box I just used to hang my cut out up in a glass frame. I’ve already cut one of the templates and am half way through the next one. I clearly have too much time on my hands.
As well as the templates there was a climbing rope coaster, wooden compass keyring, fudge and adventure sticker. This was a great box and is providing me with a lot of fun. I can’t wait for the next one.

December 8, 2017 at 9:21 pm[…] I wasn’t very impressed with the art of macrame from the latest issue of Mollie Makes but I quickly fell in love with the layered swan papercut from the same issue. I love paper cutting and have been working my way through Cut It Out! book and my monthly Embellish Box. […]
