I think celebrations on St Patrick’s Day are going to be pretty subdued this year, thanks to the outbreak of Covid-19. St Patrick’s Day parades are being cancelled across Ireland, although it looks like the St Patricks’s Day parade taking place in London this weekend is still going ahead. You can still celebrate St Patricks’ Day at home and kids will love this easy Leprechaun paper plate craft.

How to make an easy Leprechaun paper plate
I love using my Cricut to craft with. You can use your Cricut to cut the template by uploading the PNG files to your software. Resize the images to each fit an 8 ½ by 11 page. Select to print and cut. Alternatively you can print the file at home and cut by hand.
Print the Leprechaun Template file of your choosing. This is a handy 3 page file with templates for the Leprechaun head, beard and hat.
Trim both sides of your paper plate as shown in the image below.
To create the Leprechaun, glue the pieces to the plate. Start by attaching the beard to the bottom of the paper plate.
Glue the hat band to the hat.
Then attach the hat to the paper plate head.
Finally glue the eyes and nose in place.
Allow your Leprechaun paper plate head to dry completely before playing or displaying.
