Are you keeping your kids occupied over half term? The weather hasn’t been too bad considering the time of year and we’ve been able to get out and about. It’s lovely to come home and snuggle up with a film and we whipped up some easy Halloween bark to enjoy whilst watching the new PJ Masks DVD.
It’s so easy to make and you can adapt it to any season (we’ve already made delicious chocolate Easter bark!).
Easy Halloween bark recipe
1 x bar of white chocolate
2 x bars of milk chocolate
Halloween sprinkles
Halloween sweets
How to make Halloween bark
First line a shallow tray with greaseproof paper. Then cut the chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl and microwave in 30 seconds bursts until both have melted.
Pour the melted milk chocolate into the lined tray. Then slowly pour the melted white chocolate over the top, use a skewer to drag it through the chocolate.
I finished off our Halloween bark by topping it with sweet black and white skulls and a variety of Halloween sweets.
This made a large bar which I cut into smaller chunks for the children to nibble on. It’s so simple but fun to make – and eat. Have you ever made your own bark?
