The Bank Holiday weekend was a great opportunity to catch up on some reading. We spent yesterday clearing out the children’s playhouse of toys, and turning it into a chill out den for them. They hoovered, put up posters and added a little desk and chair and beanbag. It was lovely to see them enjoying their playhouse and I hope they spend lots of time in it as the weather warms up.

We were recently #gifted a copy of Doodle Cat Wears a Cape by Kat Patrick and Lauren Farrell. This is the third book in this cheeky and beloved series.

It’s a lovely book which both my children have enjoyed reading. It’s perfect for sharing or a great picture book for those learning to read.
