As we’ll soon be going on holiday I wanted to craft some colourful tags to make our suitcases easily identifiable. A few years ago we made some colourful Duck Tape passport covers so I couldn’t wait to craft with Duck Tape again. Duck Tape is a great craft material as it’s so durable and perfect to make tags to help identify our luggage. To make our DIY Duck Tape ice lolly tags I used:
Patterned Duck Tape
scissors
card
craft sticks
hole punch
DIY Duck Tape ice lolly tags
First I cut my card to 100cm x 60cm. I placed a craft stick on the back of each piece of card, and held it in place with a piece of sticky tape. Then I placed the card onto a piece of Duck Tape, long enough to fold around both sides.
I used a variety of different patterned tapes, smoothing down the edges and making sure the craft stick was kept in place.
I overlapped some of the tapes and placed some at angles to create different patterns.
When I had completely covered each piece of card I used the Duck Tape roll to draw a circle around the top of each tag and cut round it to create a curve. I punched a hole and threaded each one with string to tie onto our luggage. Now it should be easy to see!

Love this and the fact that you now get colourful tapes! Looks so simple to do and very useful too.
I had no idea you could get patterned duck tape!!! This would make the rip on our tent look so much cooler. Will have to keep an eye out 🙂
