Decorating for Christmas with JDWilliams

Decorating for Christmas with JDWilliams

Am I allowed to be smug and tell you I’ve finished my Christmas shopping? My husband took a day off a few weeks ago and we smashed my to do list. I actually found the stockings the most difficult as the stockings we have are huge! I fill them for 4 people so it takes a while to find little things to put in them. As well as getting the things people wanted I got a few extra special gifts.

Decorating for Christmas with JDWilliams

I love to shop in-store and browse online. This year I found some lovely Christmas decorations at JD Williams so picked up something for my mum and husband.

Wedgewood Christmas teacup decoration

My mum loves Wedgewood so I couldn’t resist this adorable Wedgewood Teacup Decoration consisting of a teacup and saucer. A charming festive decoration and an exquisite miniature of the classic porcelain Jasperware tea cup and saucer, lovingly strung with white branded satin ribbon and presented in a signature Wedgwood blue gift box.

whisky bauble decorations

My husband asked for a Whisky Advent calendar but I just couldn’t afford one. Instead I’m hoping he’ll enjoy the 6 Whisky Baubles. Yes, these can be added to the Christmas tree! Each bauble contains 50ml which makes this the ideal treat for any whisky lover! They have been hand-filled with the one British Isles blended whisky, the ‘one and only’ British Isles blended whisky from the Lake District. These beautiful baubles are filled with a well balanced blend that displays notes on fresh fruits, light spice and gentle peat-smoke.

North Pole light up sign

I couldn’t resist adding this fun North Pole Light Up Sign to our Christmas decorations this year. We usually put our outside lights up on the 1st December. It’s getting dark by the time we get back from the school run so it’s quite nice to come home to some twinkly lights. I’m hoping my husband will put this on the wall running up the stairs so every time the children go to bed then can dream about the North Pole.

What do you think of my selection? I’m so glad that everything is wrapped and hidden away until the big day, leaving me time to plan our Christmas menu 🙂
