Day Zero – Month 14 (November)

Posted on November 28, 2011 by jenny

On the 19 September 2010 I started a Day Zero list: a place to record my goals, discover new challenges, and gain motivation to achieve them. I have a list of 100 things I want to do over 1001 days. The list is due to be completed by 16 June 2013.

2. Have another baby

Welcome to the world Little Miss! A brand new sister for Big Brother!

89. Make a giraffe quilt

Edward was lucky enough to benefit from the wonderful work of Gina who made him his own snuggly blanket featuring a giraffe. We keep it in the lounge and he’s got into the habit of grabbing it and watching episodes of Chuggington when he’s tired – very cute!

90. Buy a vintage dolls house

I tracked down a vintage dolls house on eBay (which I could afford) and I’m currently thinking how to restore it.

Oh Jenny, your little one is so precious! You must be so proud, and I’m sure big brother is too! Now I wish I had sent you something pink for her! ;o)
I’m so glad to read that your son is enjoying his giraffe quilt. I really did enjoy making it for him.
Congratulations on you new arrival and have a wonderful week!

Congratulations on your new baby and if you are a busy body like me chances are you have gotten yourself some kind of baby monitor. I got a few between my fist born and my third and it was easy to let the monitor do my job for me.
I am just here to say enjoy your babys crys ,movements, hiccups and more and remember that a monitor can not be a substitute for parental attention and love.
