Cookie Crumbles Fabulous Gingerbread Biscuit Mix

Posted on November 13, 2015November 13, 2015 by jenny

Yesterday Little Sis and I had a baking session. She only attends nursery in the afternoon which means we get to spend every morning together and we usually craft or make something. She loves to bake so I knew she would enjoy baking some festive gingerbread biscuits.

We were sent a pack of  the latest product in the Cookie Crumbles range – the Fabulous Gingerbread Biscuit Mix with wholemeal flour – to try. This mix contained everything we needed except for the butter and Golden Syrup. I made the dough as Little Sis picked her cutters.

When she was ready I set her up with an apron, rolling pin and grease proof paper. She was very happy rolling out the dough and choosing what shaped biscuits to make.

The dough smelt delicious and had a lovely texture. It was easy to roll out and soon Little Sis was placing some great looking biscuits on the baking tray.

We had gingerbread men, teddies, stars and circles. I baked them in the oven according to the instructions and soon the house smelt very Christmassy.

Whilst they were cooling down we decided how to decorate them and dug out icing and coloured balls.

I helped Little Sis finish them off and soon we had some fantastic looking biscuits, a perfect treat for elevenses.
