Today we wrapped our gifts to give this Father’s Day. The children are really excited and can’t wait to give their gifts. It’s so lovely to have something to look forward to as most days feel exactly like the day before. We have some fun Father’s Day crafts and activities, but thought we would share…
We’ve seen little fairy gardens cropping us all around us since lockdown began. They range from simple craft stick fairy doors to a really elaborate one which has fairies doing PE with Joe Wicks, and a window full of rainbow posters for the NHS. They’ve inspired my own children to build a fairy garden and we…
With an inquisitive 8 year old you probably won’t be surprised that she loves to make and play with slime. I think slime is a great STEM toy (one which utilises science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and it seems to appeal to her inner scientist! Roblox has been around for a while and I thought an offline activity would be good for when they’re not playing online. Our…
I’ve always wanted to visit the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. It takes place every year in May at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. It opened in 1862 and has been a fixture of the gardening world every year, except during the First and Second World Wars. As mass gatherings are currently banned the 2020…
With this lovely warm weather we are out and about a lot more. Being outside is good for the whole family and helps the kids to run off some of their endless energy. We’ve been decorating and hiding rocks for a while now and wanted to make some summer painted rocks. We used: Bag of…
