As fans of all things brick we were delighted to hear about a new subscription box for Lego fans called BrickBox. This is a monthly subscription box and we recently received the June box and made a little unboxing video of the contents:
The BrickBox theme for this month was: Lego Jungle from the Lego City range which we were really excited about as we had spotted some sets in our local toy shop at the weekend and thought they looked brilliant.
This BrickBox contained three Lego sets – the Lego Jungle Starters Set, the Lego Jungle Buggy and a Lego Jungle Polybag. Our family are huge Lego fans so I let my 7 year old open this subscription box. I think you can tell from our unboxing video that he absolutely loved the contents. It didn’t take him long to build each set.
Lego Jungle Starter Set (60157)
This set is perfect for exploring the Lego City Jungle range. It features a boat with space for gear and 3 minifigures; a tree with hidden treasure, camera and a working magnifying glass.
Lego Jungle Buggy (60156)
The Jungle Buggy features a minifigure, cockpit and space in the back for machete and binoculars elements. There is also a buildable statue with hidden diamond element, moving leaf and a red spider figure.
Lego Jungle ATV Polybag (30355)
The Polybag contained a buggy and minifig explorer with machete.
We couldn’t fault the BrickBox subscription box but I don’t think you can ever go wrong with Lego. This would make a great gift as a one off or a lovely monthly treat if you subscribe on a long-term basis. BrickBox have kindly given me a discount code to share with you. Simply use the code GINGERBREADHOUSE at the order page of their site and this will give you 10% off your first purchase. This is valid until the 31st August 2017.
