Now we’re back from our week away we’ve been having lots of fun playing with our toys at home. Both children said they missed their toys whilst we were away (and it felt like we had taken most of them with us!). The Lego Duplo Batcave Adventure has been the latest addition to our collection….

Who Do You Think You Are? Story
When I originally started my blog back in the dark ages, otherwise known as 2005, I wrote about all kinds of things from London life to researching my family history. It’s been one of my hobbies since I was at school and it’s grown substantially over the years, so much so that I started a…
Here come the girls
I love to hand sew, I love to make things for my children and it’s the perfect hobby for giving my brain a rest from blogging. As soon as I saw Crafty Dolls by Jane Bull I thought of Little Sis. She loves her dolls and she loves it when I make things for her…
Win a weekend in Amsterdam with Waterstones
Miffy, Dick Bruna’s classic children’s character and style icon, has had some of her classic story books republished this year, and there are even some brand new sticker books. Reluctant Potty Training

The children enjoyed some really fun activities, including colouring, face painting, eating delicious cakes and of…
Our Summer holiday round up (Week 2)
The summer holidays are rushing by very quickly. I enjoyed looking back at the first week of the holidays so thought I would do it all again. Big Brother and I attended our last The Creation Station session. I’m not sure he realises he won’t be going again (due to starting Reception in September) but…
10 star crafts for kids
My children absolutely adore stars. Little Sis loves to sing and can often be heard singing Twinkle Twinkle, or her version of it anyway. Her latest favourite book is Serafina Starfish, a touch and feel book, which is perfect for babies and toddlers, which she was sent from Meadow Kids. It’s a fun story about…
