It’s not often I’m offered a product that I know my husband would love but Warner Brothers recently asked if we would be interested in a copy of LEGO Batman 2: DC Heroes to review. As I mention all the time *we love Lego* so it was a big fat yes please!
Batman and Robin return in LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes, the highly-anticipated sequel to the best-selling LEGO® videogame of all time, which to date has sold more than 11 million units worldwide. This time the Dynamic Duo join forces with other famous DC super heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to stop the notorious villains Lex Luthor and The Joker from destroying Gotham City. Batman fans of all ages will enjoy a new and original story filled with classic LEGO videogame action and humour as players fight to put the bad guys back behind bars.
I’m currently a games widow so I can honestly say my husband is really enjoying the game. My toddler is too young to fully understand it but he thinks it’s very funny that daddy is playing a Lego game on the tv!
My husband is a man of few words but he liked the following – that the characters can construct useful things to help you during the game; thought it was cool that you can play as Batman and Robin; liked the fact that the whole game was made out of Lego but didn’t like the fact that you couldn’t break everything (it’s made of Lego so surely you can build and break apart again!). There are hours of content and plenty of easter eggs to find. This game also features proper dialogue for the first time and we are all enjoying spotting our favourite DC Super Hero characters – good and bad!
