This year we’re excited to share a new Halloween craft for kids with you, our simple paper cone cat craft for kids. This makes a lucky black cat which is perfect for Halloween!

Simple paper cone cat craft for kids
Print out and prepare the template patterns. Select coloured craft papers for the cat craft. Use pencil to trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and use scissors to cut them out neatly.
Glue the inner ear cutouts to the ear parts of the head cutout.
Glue the googly eyes to the top part of the head and glue the nose between the eyes.
Form a cone shape with the half circle cutout. Apply glue along the open end to secure the cone shape.
Glue the head pattern to the top, front side of the paper cone.
Glue the broom cutout to the stick cutout.
Cut 2 1-cm slits on the bottom side of the cone. The slits should be opposite to each other and on both sides (left and right) of the cat pattern.
Insert the top side of the paper broomstick through the slit.
Glue the hat cutout to the top side of the paper cone cat to complete the craft.

This craft look so beautiful and will keep the little one occupied over the weekend as I try new recipe to cook for the thanksgiving dinner. I am one of the silent readers of your blog and often keep an eye out for any craft or DIY ideas that you share. keep them coming!
