Starting the week by writing the Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. This is my chance to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I love to sit down and write.
Five Happy Things {Week 477}
Last week my daughter turned 12. My son made her a delicious marble cake and she received lots of Tech Deck toys and crystal art sets.
We also celebrated the 1st day of Advent last week. My daughter and I stitched an advent panel for the dog which was a lot of fun (but a but last minute too!). Inside each pocket is a dog biscuit which is slowly driving his crazy.
I signed up to the Benzie Ornament Exchange to make a Christmas ornament. I love stitching with felt and made a sweet Christmas jumper for my partner.
Over the weekend we visited Frameless, the largest permanent multi-sensory experience in the UK. Frameless features four galleries and showcases some of the world’s greatest works of art presented in ways never seen before. The kids both love art and I knew they would enjoy the experience of seeing art differently.
We also visited The Gingerbread City which has just opened at Westfield White City. I try and visit every year because I love how creative the architects are with gingerbread.
