Last month I shared a post about our epic visit to London to see the Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London trail.

I’m sure it’s possible to visit all the sculptures in one day but we decided to break it down and visit them over a few days. We love a trip into London as there’s always so much to see and do. Not only is Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London trail accessible to all, it’s also free and fun to do. We did pay for the app but it’s definitely made ticking off the sculptures more fun and well worth the money.

Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London trail (Part 2)

It is the UK’s first step-free art trail of its kind, hosted by Whizz-Kidz, the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users. Not only do we love Morph but this is a great way to explore bits of London. We managed to tick off another 17 sculptures on our latest trip which was from London Bridge Station, along by the old City Hall towards Tower Bridge.

This was one of my favourites in Hays Galleria.

There is a huge cluster of sculptures in this area and they are all easy to find.

We were even lucky enough to find one of the artists touching one the sculptures (who knew this was even a thing). Although the sculptures are varnished we noticed a lot of people touching them, which meant the paint was coming off in places.

She was really lovely and told us all about her Morph (which we saw last time) and how she came up with the design. It was fascinating to hear all about it and the many hours involved in painting her Morph.

Little Sis was super excited to spot the Morph decorated by Rob Biddulph, who is one of our favourite artists. His is the rainbow one below.

We double-backed on ourselves to go back towards Borough Market and Southwark Cathedral and tick off a few more on the trail.

We were beginning to feel a bit tired having walked for about 2 hours, and these were much more difficult to find, probably because the market was too busy. We would recommend going early in the day if you have little ones to avoid the crowds of hungry tourists.

You can probably guess how happy I was to spot Gingerbread Morph – dripping with pink icing and colourful sugar sprinkles, with chocolate buttons and a candy-cane nose. Sadly we couldn’t get our hands on one of the gingerbread doughnuts from Bread Ahead, so we picked up some cookies to keep us going on our treasure hunt.

As well as the Morph sculpture we also came across this bench which reminded us off the book bench trail we did a few years ago. We also found a couple of the small Morph sculptures which have been decorated by schools.

These sculpture trails really help us clock up the steps and we had a lovely day out in London. We are looking forward to finding some more Morphs when we can squeeze another trip into London soon.
