Sunday Happy Things {Week 432}

Posted on January 22, 2023 by jenny

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write.

Sunday Happy Things {Week 432}

Did you know that February is National Embroidery Month? I love embroidery so am excited to celebrate all things embroidery, some of the projects I am currently working on, and have some fun giveaways to share too. I’m finishing up my Winter Craftpod subscription box so I can start on some more colourful projects for Spring.

We’ve been doing some work on our house and last week our new fire arrived. It has totally transformed the feel of the living room and I can’t wait for the fireplace to arrive this week. We will be painting the room at some point – when we have decided on the new colour scheme.

Have you watched Everything Everywhere All At Once on Amazon Prime? It was recommended to us and we found the first half of the film was really good, but the second half was just really random and confusing.

We had a delicious meal at Pizza Express to celebrate our son doing well at school. He hasn’t got any behaviour points this year (or last school year) so was rewarded with hot chocolate with the Head.

Have a great week everyone.

    A new fireplace sounds amazing especially with how cold it is at the moment, -7.5 here this morning. I have not been to Pizza Express for a long time. Not seen that film, but am currently hooked on The Resident on Disney

    I didn’t know about embroidery month. Sounds like a good one to get some time to relax your mind. Always good for our mental health.

    I would love to have a fireplace in my home. I used to when I lived in Spain and I remember how cosy the winter evenings were, by the fire. You chose the perfect moment to get one installed, with the cold weather still bothering us.
