I don’t like to talk about Christmas too early. In fact we’re not allowed to talk about it in our house until my daughter’s birthday at the end of this month. However, I have some fun Christmas crafts to share with you and it feels about time that I shared this fun DIY Christmas Tree Paper Garland with you.
To make our Christmas Tree Paper Garland you will need:
Green construction paper
Wool
Glue or hot glue gun and gluesticks
Scissors
Pencil
How to make a Christmas tree paper garland:
Draw a Christmas tree on the green construction paper. You can either cut this tree out and use it as a template to trace around, or draw lots of trees.
Prepare 3 paper Christmas trees.
Put wool in the middle of the paper and attach it using a small amount of glue or a dab of hot glue.
Take the second paper tree and place it over the first, the fold the paper in half.
Take the third paper tree and place it on top of your paper tree, use a dab more glue if you need to.
Fold the paper tree in half so you have a 3D paper tree.
Cut as many trees as you need to make a paper Christmas tree garland and repeat the process to make your required length of garland.
Leave them freestanding if you want to make a small forest.
Or hang them in a window for a lovely Christmas display.
These would be so much fun to make using different materials. You could raid the recycling box or even re-use wrapping paper this Christmas!
