tea tree oil australian bodycare review

tea tree oil australian bodycare review

Posted on December 4, 2019 by jenny

Disclosure – australian bodycare gifted me these products for the purpose of this post.

I remember first discovering tea tree oil when I was at school. Back then I was pretty limited to the products in my local pharmacy, but regularly stocked up on small bottles of tea tree oil as it’s such a miracle product and really helped my skin.

Did you know that tea tree oil was used over one hundred years ago in Australia, due to its antiseptic purposes? In the last few decades, this natural medicinal oil has gained worldwide recognition for its beneficial properties. Research has shown that tea tree oil is beneficial for not just skin, but also hair. This essential oil, which is extracted from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia plant, holds antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Australian bodycare have several products based on tea tree oil and I was delighted when they offered me one of their gift sets. They are available via the australian bodycare website or Amazon store and they have several gift sets in case you are looking for gifts for loved ones this season. I chose the set containing 3 hair products, specifically for dry, itchy and irritated scalp.

The set contained 3 products: scalp cure treatment mask, hair clean shampoo and hair care conditioner. The gift set contains three recommended products which work together to relieve the symptoms of a dry, itchy and irritated scalp.

Step 1 the scalp cure treatment mask contains natural tea tree oil which counteracts bacteria that can cause dandruff, a dry and itchy scalp

Step 2 hair clean shampoo contains natural tea tree oil which effectively cleanses hair and scalp, leaving your hair feeling soft and well cared for

Step 3 hair care conditioner with natural tea tree oil refreshes and stimulates hair and scalp

I love the smell of tea tree oil and found that these products look great in my bathroom. The packaging all features the same botanical pattern which really makes them stand out amongst other products I use. I’ve been using the australian bodycare hair products for the last few weeks and have the shiniest, clean feeling hair. Thankfully my head hasn’t been so itchy since I started using these products. They are safe enough for the whole family to use as the products are 100% dermatologically tested and 100% vegan, and it’s been great for improving the condition of our hair and scalp.
