We spent a lovely weekend with my family on the Isle of Wight which is where I grew up. We managed to squeeze in a visit to the seaside town of Ventnor as well as a trip to the lovely beach at Ryde.
Ventnor is full of charity shops and I bought 3 lovely vintage jigsaws for 10p which were a complete bargain. The pieces are large (perfect for chubby baby hands in a couple of years) and reminded me of a chunky wooden jigsaw my grandparents’ kept at their house which I often played with. I’m hoping to get them framed for Edward’s nursery.
