Getting ready for September {ECCO shoes review}

Getting ready for back to school {ECCO shoes review}

Posted on August 6, 2017July 11, 2023 by jenny

Our class WhatsApp group has been surprisingly busy during the first two weeks of the school holidays. There has been lots of chatter about school uniform, a subject close to my heart. My children seem to grow quicker during the holidays than they do at any other time of the year. We have already been clothes shopping as my daughter has gone through the knees of all her trousers so I couldn’t help but pick up some school uniform items too.

Every year the list of things needed for school seems to get longer. My son starts in a new school in September so stationery was added to our shopping list for the first time. He has been really excited about this and I’ve had to hide his new supplies to stop him from using them!

Buying school shoes is actually one of the easier things to buy. Perhaps I’m lucky that my children enjoy shoe shopping, or maybe they just dislike trying on uniform that the shoes are easy in comparison.

As a parent it’s obvious that little feet need great shoes! Add style, statement and comfort to the new term as ECCO rolls out an exclusive array of shoes. My daughter was sent a pair of shoes from their new collection which she has been happily wearing at home.

My 5 year old is very active at school (and home too!) so she needs shoes which work really hard for her. I found that the last shoes I bought her just didn’t have enough grip which caused a few issues in wet weather. Thankfully the range from ECCO feature FLUIDFORM Technology, by naturally cradling the foot, it cushions their step while playing, but still allows fro easy movement with a light and flexible fit.

They may look very grown up shoes with laces but their is a handy zip along the side with a cute star detail. My daughter is more than happy with her new shoes and I love the quality and price.

Disclosure – we were gifted these ECCO school shoes for the purpose of this post

    What a great idea, we normally go to Clark’s for the boys shoes and the sports shop for my older sons but I love that these look grown up but have the zip. Will be checking these out for my little one. x

    I remember my school days when mum always bought us new shoes for every new academic year but she made our uniforms so there was never an issue there.
