Pancake Day gets a wacky makeover with Num Noms Series 3

Pancake Day gets a wacky makeover with Num Noms Series 3

Posted on February 28, 2017January 8, 2023 by jenny

Last year was the year of the Num Noms, with the collectable, scented craze making its way into households across the UK. 2017 sees the launch of Series 3 and Lights, bringing brand new food themes and funky characters to the shelves, to create even more ways to collect!

We’re celebrating the arrival of these new wacky stackables today on Pancake Day, by combining our favourite Num Noms flavours with our favourite food-related day. It’s time to get creative and share – what’s your flavour?

We were sent a selection of the Series 3 Num Noms to inspire our Pancake Day celebrations and over the weekend we opened them up. We received a Num Noms Lights Mystery Pot (SRP £3.99), a Num Noms Starter Pack (SRP £8.99), and the amazing Num Noms Lunch Box Deluxe Pack (SRP £14.99). Available within Series 3 Mystery Pots, Starter Packs, Lunch Box Deluxe Packs and Surprise in a Jar, the uniquely scented characters have never been more fun, with so many ways to collect.

My children were so excited to see these as they love their Num Noms. Everything was opened, examined and smelled. Lip gloss was applied and new stamps tested. Our favourite was definitely the Num Noms Lights which really glow! The adorable Nums fit on top of the scented Noms, which light up in two colours and arrive in a cute juice carton. Then it was time to make some amazing pancake combinations.

Pancake Day with Num Noms

We used ready-made pancakes and added strawberries with marshmallows and sprinkles. There may have been some chocolate sauce too! These were inspired by the Fresh Fruit and Marshmallow Starter Packs.

I chopped up the fruit and the children made their pancakes. My son ate everything up, my daughter ate everything but the pancake!

Num Noms Series 3 and Num Noms Series 1 Lights are for children aged 3+ and are available from all good toy retailers including ToysRUs, Smyths and The Entertainer. For more information, visit www.numnoms.com

Scented things are always so appealing aren’t they? I used to love scented rubbers as a kid, so the idea of a scented collectible range would have been just my thing.

I used to collect those too! These are so similar but love that they can influence what the kids demand for dinner too!
