Intelligent Waste with Joseph Joseph

At the moment we’re saving up to re-do our kitchen and this is hopefully something we will be able to do next year. The kitchen is the heart of our home so it’s important it is functional and looks good too. We were recently offered the Stack range of recycling containers from Joseph Joseph to review. They are an ingenious way to neatly store away all your different types of recycling, letting you separate it into different compartments, while decluttering your kitchen space.

Although we had a bin to house our recycling it was always overflowing onto the floor. So I was really interested in trying out Stack to see if it could help. Stack offers a stylish, space-saving solution. The slimline modular units can either be stacked neatly on top of each other or placed side by side to maximise space and blend discreetly into any kitchen.

Excuse my messy kitchen but you can see how slim the units are, yet they hold plenty of recycling.

Stack is easy to use as each unit has a sliding lid to hide the contents, as well as a removable inner bucket for easy emptying and colour-coded tabs to identify recycling types. The unique design allows easy access to all compartments even when stacked and the inner buckets fit both custom-fit liners and standard bin liners.

Stack can be bought as a 2-piece set as well as a 3-piece set which includes a ventilated food waste caddy with an odour filter. Each unit can also be bought separately to suit individual household recycling requirements. I’ve placed the food waste caddy near where I prepare food but this also stacks neatly on the other units.

  1. the food waste caddy bit sounds great because I hate having that in my kitchen due to the smell even though I change the bag all the time x
