1980s hair

I love this week’s theme for The Gallery: Hair! I’ve changed my hairstyle nearly as often as I’ve changed my socks. I’ve had asymmetrical, short, long, fringe, no fringe. I remember at Middle School I used so much hair spray I got told off by the school nit nurse.

Fortunately most of my photos are stored in my mum’s loft. Apart from this beauty of me and my sister in the late 1980s. My sister (on the right) was desperate for a perm which my mum did – I think it fell out within a week.

I actually like my hairstyle in this photograph as it’s nice and simple. I have it shorter today since my little one started yanking it!
