What do you do with left over plastic eggs and some buttons? Make some tea cups suitable for A Mad Tea-Party of course. I wish I could claim this project my own but I saw a couple of Pinterest, like this one and knew my children would love it. This is a great project for using up left over plastic egg shells from Easter.

How to make Mad hatter’s tea cups
This was a quick and easy craft. I chose suitably large buttons for the egg shells to rest on.
Some of the plastic eggs had flat bottoms and some were round so I made sure I picked a mixture of buttons to accommodate this.
I added a dab of hot glue to the button and placed the egg shell on. Then left them upside down to dry. You could use a glue dot if you don’t have a glue gun, which would make this a little more child friendly.
Once the tea cups had dried we decorated them with stickers and marker pens. My daughter had fun setting up a tea party for her dolls and they are perfect for helping celebrate the 150th anniversary of Alice in Wonderland this year.

Genius! I have a pile of plastic eggs left in my kitchen and was wondering what to do with them all. Thank you!
Aw, such a lovely cute idea. My children would love having tea parties with them.
