{Review} Citygrips – pushchair handlebar grip covers

Posted on November 17, 2013November 18, 2020 by jenny

It’s been a sad week as we finally returned the Bugaboo Bee we had on loan. I loved that buggy so much! I would definitely buy one if Little Sis was younger but she’s keen to walk rather than sit these days. Fortunately for me she does still need a buggy – where would I put my shopping if I didn’t have one!?

Citygrips – pushchair handlebar grip covers

We were sent some fun citygrips from choopie who create innovative, affordable and stylish products that make life easier and brighter for
parents.

Citygrips are soft, stylish and comfortable grip covers which slip onto any pushchair or buggy’s handlebars, preventing and protecting against everyday wear and tear. You can avoid grimy, sweaty hands with durable and easy-to wash citygrips. They are:

  • Easy to attach
  • Fits all handlebars
  • Made of plush durable material
  • Stylish patterns make your pushchair stand out
  • Protects grips from wear and tear
  • Machine wash and dry

We chose the citygrips in classic chevron pink as I knew Little Sis would love the colour and design. As soon as they arrived I put them straight on our pushchair and they have really given it a new lease of life. I like the idea that they will give the handlebars some protection too and these would have been a lifesaver on our Phil and Ted’s as the handlebar disintegrated within a couple of months of use.

Citygrips come in two styles, for pushchairs with a singe bar (like my Britax Affinity) or double bar (like our old Mamas and Papas pictured above).  For more information take a look at www.citygrips.com

What a fabulous idea. I keep finding things like these now – when my kids have grown out of their pushchair!

What a great idea! I am looking for something similar but for the carry handle on our buggy! 🙂

What a great idea! The handlebar on our pram is really
quite hard so these would be great.

Everyone comments on them when they see them, it’s funny how such a simple thing can brighten it up.
