I have another fun and FREE printable to share with you today. Over the last few years we’ve been visited by our very own Scout Elf on the 1st of December. Yes, the children love our Elf on the Shelf and we love having him visit in the run up to Christmas. Last year he was joined by an elf friend so now the children both have their own Elf, who keeps an eye on them and makes sure they behave themselves.
We’ve always had lots of fun with our Elf on the Shelf. Yes, I may spend a lot of time thinking up adventures for them, but it’s always worth it when I see the look on the children’s faces. They’ve already been talking about them and wondering what they will get up to, and I have a few ideas up my sleeves.
24 Elf on the Shelf ideas for spreading Christmas cheer
Now, we all know that us parents need to come up with 24 ideas for our visiting Scout Elves. If you need some ideas then you can take a look at some of my previous blog posts which include how to prepare for the Elf on a Shelf, to 24 tried and tested Elf on the Shelf ideas that work.
How about if your Elf on the Shelf came with ideas to keep your children busy in December? Yes, I have a fun printable that you simply need to print and cut out the 24 ideas. Grab my free printable here by clicking on the image below.
During Advent your Elf can leave a different idea every day to keep your children busy and in the Christmas spirit. Ideas range from watching Mum’s favourite Christmas film (definitely my favourite idea!) to singing Christmas carols or donating food to your local food bank, going out in the dark to look for Christmas lights or making a new ornament for your Christmas tree.
The ideas are low cost or free and should help spread cheer this Christmas!
