Cricut Halloween infusible ink coasters

Cricut Halloween infusible ink coasters

Posted on October 31, 2020 by jenny

Disclosure – I was sent some of these products to review

My children love Halloween. It’s a fun season and with a trip to the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins and making a Halloween gingerbread house, we certainly have kept the fun in Halloween. Tomorrow we’re going on a scavenger hunt around the neighbourhood to look for decorated houses, and I have some really fun Halloween food from M&S for a spooky tea party. I received some Infusible Ink products from Cricut and thought they would be perfect for some Halloween crafting.

Cricut Halloween coasters supplies:

Cricut Maker

Cricut Infusible Ink transfer sheets

Cricut Infusible Ink Ceramic Coaster Blanks

Using free Halloween svg files I transferred them to Design Space so I could re-size them to fit the Cricut Infusible Ink Ceramic Coaster Blanks. I chose a sheet of Cricut Infusible Ink transfer sheets and placed it on the cutting mat and set the design to cut.

The original design I chose was quite small and the infusible ink sheet pulled off the mat slightly as it cut. So I decided to replace the design with something simpler and re-cut it.

I carefully weeded the design and placed transfer tape over the top so I could position it on the ceramic coaster blank.

Then it was time to set the infusible ink using my Cricut Heat Press. I placed the Ceramic Coaster Blanks face down with a sheet of card between them and my heat mat.

The heat press required a really high setting and we left the coasters to cool down before we looked to see if the design had set.

Thankfully the pumpkin design set perfectly and we ended up with two cute coasters for the kids to use over Halloween.

Those coasters look amazing and I bet the children were delighted to see their names on them!

They are fantastic. I love how versatile the cricut is! I have one on my Christmas list. I can’t wait to see what you create for Christmas.
