My sister recently adopted a very sweet dog and I couldn’t wait to make him something special for Christmas. Obviously I wanted to use my Cricut Maker so had a good look on Pinterest for Cricut dog ideas. I decided to make him a stocking filled with treats and really enjoyed putting everything together.
Cricut made personalised dog gifts
I made two Cricut dog projects, I personalised a DIY dog bib and the stocking too. As I was short of time I used a ready made stocking and bib but these would both have been easy to make from scratch. In fact the bib was very similar to the ones I made my own children when they were babies.
There are so many Cricut Maker dog projects around but I opted for something simple but practical. I used Cricut Design Space to design a simple letter B to add to the front of the stocking, and the name Bowie to attach to the ready made bib. I cut both from glittery vinyl.
I designed a simple letter B for the stocking and cut it from matching vinyl. I positioned this centrally at the top of the stocking and pressed it in place.
I love using my Cricut Mini and it was perfect for these two projects.
Again, I positioned the vinyl where I wanted it and used the Cricut Mini to press it in place on the bib.
I then wrapped up the bib with a few other presents and filled the stocking.
It always feels so good to give handmade gifts. It can sometimes be quite hard to find items with the name you want but my Cricut machine means I can make anything I like!
