It’s taking me a while to write down all the fun activities we organised for my sons Minecraft party. Luckily the weather was ok so they could make full use of the DIY Nerf Target board we made for the garden. In case the weather was inclement we made a few activities to take place indoors. One of these was Pin the tail on the (Minecraft) pig.
Pin the tail on the Minecraft pig
My son just loves Minecraft so I got him to design the board. He drew the pig and painted it. I then cut it out and stuck it onto a sheet of mountboard.
He left off the tail as we wanted to use his drawing for a game of Pin the Tail on the Pig. I love the drawing of Alex he added in!
It was pretty large, but the perfect size for a birthday party.
I made some pink piggy tails from a sheet of pink craft foam. When it was time for the party we placed the board up high, tied a scarf around the childs’ head and let them try and pin the tail on the Minecraft pig.
It was pretty fun to watch them try and pin the tail in the right place. We had a prize for the person who stuck their tail closest to its bottom. It made for a great Minecraft party game and was so quick and simple to make.
