Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. It’s time for my weekly blog post about the five things which made me happy last week – Monday Happy Things {Week 138}
I started off with my first week in my temporary job which I really enjoyed. I love being back at work after far too long as a SAHM.
My 5 year old finished his SATs. It was a pretty boring week for them all at school so I’m glad it’s over for him. He was rewarded with a meal at Pizza Express and a new Star Wars Lego set. He chose Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter set which he built pretty quickly. We made a video of it which you can see over on our YouTube channel.
On Saturday we had a lovely day out with friends at Mottisfont, a romantic house and gallery set in beautiful riverside gardens. The weather was pretty rubbish for May but it didn’t stop the kids playing outside. They loved the freedom to enjoy the Wild Play areas, including Boggy Climbing and Pump, Pool and Paddle! I only wish I had been better prepared for when the inevitable happened and my son slipped over in the water!
Yesterday we enjoyed an impromptu barbecue with friends. The weather was so much better and w were able to sit out in the garden all day long drinking prosecco.
Somehow I managed to squeeze in some time to tart up my youTube channel, adding some of my favourite older videos and creating some new content. I never really got into YouTube but I have definitely embraced it now. The only downside is I’m filling my MacBookAir and running out of storage!
