My children love an Easter Egg hunt. A little bit of me blames those YouTube videos I keep finding them watching. They would spend hours watching other children unboxing very large eggs if they could. However, this love of unboxing videos meant I didn’t hesitate when offered our very own L.O.L. Surprise! Easter hunt.
Little Sis loves her dolls and the L.O.L. Surprise is just her thing. L.O.L. Surprise is a collectible doll with mix and match accessories. The clever part is that they come in a round ball which contains 7 layers of surprise inside! Oh yes, and L.O.L. Surprise stands for Lil Outrageous Littles.
My little one loves to lie-in so whilst she was sleeping her brother and I devised a treasure hunt for her. We found some plastic fillable eggs and numbered them.
then my 7 year old sat down and wrote some clues for her.
When she *finally* awoke we presented her with the clues which she had to solve to find the eggs which were hidden around the house. When she found an egg she was given a surprise which ranged from a L.O.L. Surprise Diva Bow, a Secret Message, Jokes, a cool colouring in sheet, cute postcard and a bag of sweets. The final prize was the L.O.L. Surprise!
I think it’s safe to say she enjoyed the treasure hunt and the little prizes she won. When she received the last prize she sat down to unwrap the layers of the L.O.L. Surprise.
The first layer contained a secret message, then collectible stickers, a water bottle, shoes, a sweet outfit, accessory and the final layer had the doll.
That’s not all though! You can add water to your bottle and your doll will give you another surprise! You can even bathe her in cold water to see if she changes colour. This is a fun toy and a lot of thought has gone into it. You can even use the ball she comes in in one of four ways; as a purse carrying case, a doll display, a bath playset or hangout playset.
There are over 45 dolls in L.O.L. Surprise Series 1 for you to collect. We think these would make a great alternative to chocolate this Easter and will keep little ones busy for hours!
