I’m on a bit of a roll at the moment. The other day I shared our Christmas Pudding Biscuits, today I am going to show you how I made Tunnocks’ Teacake Christmas puddings.
I’m all for making things easy at this time of year. There is so much pressure for everything to be perfect but I’d rather cut some corners and and make more time to enjoy myself!
My easy Tunnocks’ Teacake Christmas puddings have only 3 ingredients so are the easiest thing for whipping up as an after school treat or if you have some friends coming round after school drop off. After 5 years living in Scotland I’m a huge fan of Tunnocks’ Teacakes and these are a fun way to give them a Christmas makeover.
You will need:
Icing sugar
Holly and berries sprinkles
Tunnocks’ Teacakes
How to make Easy Tunnocks’ Teacake Christmas puddings:
Mix a little icing sugar with some water. You need it to be thick enough to pour down the sides of your teacake, but not so runny it all runs away.
Unwrap your teacakes, remembering to save the wrappers to make Tunnocks’ bauble decorations, and place the teacakes on a piece of baking parchment. Slowly pour a dollop of icing over the top of the teacake and let it run down the sides.
Decorate with the festive sprinkles and place in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.
So easy, but don’t they look great?!
