personalised gifts from the Disney Store

A magical Christmas tea party with a sprinkle of Disney magic

Posted on November 23, 2016October 14, 2020 by jenny

A little bit of Disney magic came to our home this week. The children were the lucky recipients of a parcel from the Disney Store, and in honour of our new visitors, we threw a Christmas Tea Party to celebrate.

Our family has aways been under the magical spell of Disney and we all have our favourite characters. Us grown ups have been planning a surprise to Disneyland Paris next year so we were delighted to welcome some new friends into our home.

I’m sure you know that you can buy plush versions of your favourite Disney characters, but did you know you can get them personalised too? My daughter has always loved Minnie so was delighted to receive an adorable Minnie Mouse soft toy. Dressed in a festive sweater and check skirt, my daughter’s name is embroidered on her foot! On the other foot is the year, which makes it extra special as she grows up.

My 6 year old still loves his cuddly toys so was pleased to find a Mickey Mouse just for him. Mickey is all ready for the festive season, dressed in a festive sweater and cords. My son’s name was also embroidered on one of his feet, the other bearing the year.

Inside our special delivery were two more friends – BB8 and Olaf – so we thought we would welcome them with a special magical Christmas tea party.

We had paper plates and cups but the children soon decided they should get all their play food out.

They set up their new toys on the rug and made sure their plates were piled high with cakes and biscuits.

The children enjoyed themselves and have already demanded I leave all the toys out so they can have another pretend tea party after school today. They went to bed with their new friends and they looked so sweet, tucked up in bed with them.

You can find out more about spreading some Christmas Disney magic with personalised gifts on the Disney Store website. A big thank you to the Disney Store for sprinkling Disney magic on our home this Christmas.

How cute! I’m a bit of a big kid and do love going in the Disney store when I walk past.
