After a very busy morning we came home and baked. We are a family who loves to bake so everyone helped making White Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Cupcakes.
We were kindly sent a selection of products from Dr. Oetker so used their white chocolate chips and handy baking powder sachets. They smelled delicious and the children enjoyed licking the spoons whilst the cakes were in the oven.
As the children were ‘helping’ they really wanted to decorate them with everything we had! We made a milk chocolate and white chocolate ganache using bars of the Fine Cooks’ Chocolate, covered the cupcakes and let the children go mad with wafer paper daisies and soft shimmer pearls. Messy is not the word!
I’m not sure we’d win any prizes with our cupcakes, I may have to make some when the children are in bed as I really want to enter the ‘Great Chocolate Bake’, a new cupcake decorating competition hosted on the Dr. Oetker Facebook Page.
They‘re giving people the chance to get creative and show them how imaginative they can be by creating an extra special chocolate based cupcake to enter into the ‘Great Chocolate Bake’, the winner of the competition will receive a fantastic holiday to New York worth £3,000 – so get baking!
