We were recently offered a Nurture Box. Each box includes a mixture of practical, fun and development products which, where possible, are organic and eco-friendly too. They offer a monthly subscription box aimed at parents with children aged 0-3 years, containing 4-5 products (one of which is for the parents) which are tailored to the age of the child.
Nurture Box is about helping parents discover the best products and brands for their children. To ensure that the products are all of the highest quality and in keeping with their ethos, all products are stringently tested and vetted by a small panel of parents.
The theme of the box we were sent was ‘New Year’ and included a copy of Little Penguin Lost by Tracey Corderoy and Gavin Scott, Miffy textile cubes, My Very First Album CD, star-shaped cookie cutters and a little pot of lip balm for me.
We really enjoyed opening our box and seeing what we were sent. The products were perfect and will get plenty of use. I love the idea of a nurture box and like the opportunity of finding new products and brands. The book is already a firm bedtime favourite and the CD has been playing in the car. A Nurture Box would make a great gift idea for a birthday or to celebrate a new baby.
Nurture Box buy the products at trade price, so are able to offer significant discounts to parents. For example, a box with top quality products worth £35-40, costs the customer only £22 (or less if they buy a block subscription), including postage and packaging. There is also a charitable aspect to the business; for each box delivered a donation is made to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), which does fantastic work to provide nutrition and improve the quality of life for vulnerable and underprivileged children around the world.
