Christmas film review

Popcorn and a film

We had a busy morning as today we had our bathrooms cleaned, more of which later. So this afternoon, after Little Sis had her 12 and 13 month jabs, we thought we should snuggle together and watch a film. With over 1.5 billion video views on YouTube to date, internet sensation Gummy Bear now has his own Christmas film!

cover of Yummy Gummy Bear DVDChildren’s animation ‘The Yummy Gummy Search For Santa’ follows Gummy Bear who takes it upon himself to find Santa who has gone missing and save the day for the children of the world. Supported by his friends Harry (a Chameleon), Kala (a blue cat) and Vam Piro (a vampire bat who faints at the sight of blood), Gummy Bear must venture to the North Pole to track down the missing Santa, taking on aliens, grumpy elves and grouchy reindeer and more troubles along the way.

The film features some of Gummy Bear’s hit songs, including “I Am A Gummy Bear”. I found the film very strange but the toddler absolutely adored it, especially the music. This is a great festive film, perfect for little people.

During the film we feasted on fresh popcorn, made with our very own home popcorn maker machine from Paramount Zone. The machine was really easy to use, includes an integral measuring cup, and 5 cinema style boxes for the perfect cinema experience. We all love popcorn and my husband enjoyed using it. The popcorn pops out straight into a bowl or box so there are no burnt bits! The popcorn is also pretty healthy as oil is optional!

Oh the gummy bear…I remember some videos but what does he do exactly? Singing? Dancing? What was his talent :D? I had no idea it became so huge as to get its own film!
