Little People Disney Princess castle review

Little Sis was incredibly lucky to be sent the Little People Disney Princess castle from Fisher-Price which is suitable for ages 18 months – 5 years.

It was easy to assemble (according to daddy), it came with stickers to put on the castle and some of the accessories, and needed batteries (3 AAA batteries to be precise).

I have to be honest and say the children have never watched a Disney film but this didn’t bother them or seem to stop their enjoyment of this toy. Both my children loved the Disney Princess Castle which is great as it really appeals to both of them on lots of levels.

Little Sis was attracted by the bright colours, the accessories are all easy to hold and it’s very interactive. Her brother understands how you can move the balcony up and down (similar to his Fisher Price garage) and has been putting his other Little People inside so the little Princesses are not lonely! He also rather cutely calls it his sandcastle – that boy has a lot to learn!

The only slight negatives I had were that the toy was a little mis-shapen when delivered, but quickly got back into shape when screwed together. The flag poles keep coming out too as they are not screwed in.

As well as the castle the toy comes with Little People Cinderella and Snow White figures, a bed, table and two chairs. You can buy more Little People princesses but all Little People are compatible.

The castle also makes sounds; you can press the tea kettle for whistling sounds, put a figure on the dance floor, the castle recognizes and responds to whichever princess there, spin the dance floor to see the princesses dance and hear more sounds.

This is a really lovely toy with plenty of opportunity to play.
