Eau Thermale Avène review and giveaway

Posted on August 6, 2012January 1, 2013 by jenny

Eau Thermale Avène is a unique French skincare brand dedicated to each level of skin sensitivity; from sensitive, intolerant to allergic.  Each product contains the Avène Thermal Spring Water, a unique ingredient whose properties have been endorsed by dermatologists over the years.

The range includes really gentle body care products suitable for both mum and baby, and even for use on eczema-prone skin. My 8 month old has really sensitive skin so I was interested in trying out the range. We’ve been using a couple of the products over the last few weeks and found the Avène Cold Cream Cleansing Bar and the TriXera, which is an emollient cream, has left her skin lovely and soft. The Thermal Water Spray has many uses but we found it great on mild nappy rash and also on sunburn.

Giveaway

I have one set of Avène products worth £35 to giveaway to a reader of the gingerbread house. The set includes the Avène Cold Cream Cleansing Bar, Water Spray and TriXera, along with an Avène branded baby towel and are products in the range suitable for mum and baby and also gentle enough to be used on eczema. Four lucky runners up can receive a Water Spray and towel.

My top tip is to use moisturiser or day cream with an SPF, even if you tan easily and even if you are young. You will be giving your skin the best long-term care there is.
