Our Olympic tickets finally arrived yesterday and we found out what we’re going to see – synchronized swimming! I’m excited but the husband isn’t. He muttered something about wanting to see the BMX racing to which I muttered grumpy old man or killjoy, something along those lines.
Despite having the un-sportiest husband in the world he has mentioned more than once how we need to fully enjoy the upcoming Olympic Games, specifically by getting one of these smart TVs . He’s a bit of a gadget geek and has all the latest gadgets, not that he has much time to enjoy them since the children came along.
Anyway, he built a beautiful wooden unit in the lounge to house his gadgets although I drew the line at him installing the tv above the fireplace. He thinks that we need a smarter tv so we can potentially streamline some of these gadgets. I do quite like the thought of being able to watch what I want on demand without having to faff around (or call my husband to help!) and I’m sure the toddler would love easy access to his favourite Thomas the Tank Engine clips on YouTube.
What is it with boys and their toys? We already have full HD tv and I can’t believe he needs to upgrade something again. Whatever will it be next? Live vlogging though the tv?!
