We’re currently away on holiday and having a lovely time. The weather is being a bit changeable so we’ve made wet and dry weather plans! Today we had a chance to use those plans. This morning it was raining on and off so we had a look for local cinemas. I really fancied some of the new film releases but being a Sunday morning nothing was on.
Plan B was a trip on a local model railway which the toddler loved. Whilst he had some daddy time I hit the shops with Little Sis who enjoyed taking the top seat of the buggy and having a view. It’s really lovely being able to spend some time with each separately and I think they both like having us to themselves for a bit.
After the train ride we hopped on over to Grandad’s for a swim in his pool. Little Sis hated the water unfortunately so she just sat and watched whilst the toddler had a riot. We regularly went swimming until Little Sis was born and he’s a real water baby. Grandad has a great indoor pool and it’s covered too so it was lovely that he was able to run around and have fun. He has a very cheeky sense of humour and enjoyed splashing everyone!
The only problem was that he refused to wear his swimming pants or trunks so went in wearing just a nappy. It soaked up more and more water until it was literally hanging off him!
