A rare day off

On Saturday I had a rare day off to attend Cybher. I enjoy blogging conferences, they’re a great opportunity to catch up with online friends and improve my blogging skills.

I had a great day and it was wonderful being able to think of just myself for once. I think my handbag has been the lightest it’s ever been – just my oyster card, wallet and purse. The conference was good but it was just too tempting being in central London on my own. At lunchtime I made a run for the shops. I managed to pick up the latest copy of Mollie Makes and then went on to Covent Garden to visit Cath Kidston where I bought a lovely Flora Shirt in the sale, so it was definitely worth a visit!

I left the conference early as I wanted to get back in time to put the children to bed. As much as I needed some time off from my responsibilities I was surprised how much I missed my little family. I wandered back to the tube via Trafalgar Square which was just so busy I was happy to get back to the safety of my Zone 3 home.
