You probably won’t be surprised to hear that I’m a huge fan of the The Gingerbread Man story. I have a couple of versions of the story but recently came across a beautifully illustrated version from Child’s Play which brings the classic fairy tale up to date. The book contains lots of lift up flaps so you can get really involved in seeing how the story unfolds. I never tire of reading this story to my children and my son loves reading it with me.
What could be better to accompany the story than your very own soft toy version of the Gingerbread Man and Fox so you can act out the story? we would absolutely adore these stuffed toys to enhance the story, i bought my 3yr old daughter a pack of 12 classic childrens stories for christmas and 1 was the gingerbread man we read it on christmas day and have done so EVERY NIGHT since, she loves it we always have 2 or 3 stories so she does read the others as well just not as often as the gingerbread man.
